With the advent and rapid development of Internet, the network gradually becomes another platform for communication and work, it plays an important role in people’s lives. Particular the instant messaging software widely used, users simply connected to the Internet can be realized with the people living in corners of the world’s real-time communication. To this end, the security of confidential documents which belongs to the company, the State guarantees being severely tested, files can be transferred by real-time communication software prevent from finding by classified security department. How to effective solve this situation to ensure national security, social stability, the purity of the network environment has become the company’s current business and it needs the national security department and the community to solve. With the current problem existed in the network, this paper focused on the communications content monitoring and management through the widely used instant messaging software. By monitoring the network users in the network transmission data, information, we can detect early measures to prevent illicit serious consequences. This paper focuses on key technologies and programs in the content network traffic monitoring, especially focuses on the protocol analysis techniques and protocol reduction technology which play an important role in the security of the network. Based on research in theory, this paper designs a network communication content control system architecture for real-time communication software, and implementations the purposes of monitoring communication content through MSN by analysis and restore the communication content. It can be achieved monitored for real-time communication class applications by expansion the system. In this way, it can meet corporate and regulatory network to manage the behavior of the users. The primary work of this paper includes: 1. The paper researched and analyzed the network monitoring, then found differences and connections between the network traffic monitoring technology and network content monitoring technology. By learning the currently widely used in network traffic monitoring technology, this paper design the contents of the monitoring network through deeply analysis.2. The paper researched the technology of Analysis of the agreement, through analyzing the TCP/IP reference model encapsulation, drilling and extracting the necessary information from the communications during the session restore, to achieve the restructuring of the data stream the content of communications during the session restore which were restructured.3. The paper researched and analyzed the content analysis for the application layer data reduction techniques and proposed signature-based data analysis package to restore the contents of the application layer data technology, which achieved to restore content of communications.4. The paper designed a system architecture which could restore the contents of network traffic monitoring based on researching Content in network traffic monitoring technology and protocol analysis techniques. While achieved a resolution to restore the contents of MSN communications by deeply analyzed the instant messaging software MSN which was most widely used.5. Finally, this paper test and analysis the results in the aspects of functionality and performances, the result shows that the system can meet the design requirements, it implementation the analytical data reduction for MSN instant text application data, file transfer, voice and video data. In addition the system has good scalability, it can be realized on a variety of applications monitor support by analyzing the Transport Protocol of the applications.
