Network virtualization is a very important concept in Future Internet, as is widely used in cloud computing, active networks and spawning networks. Network virtualization unifies and allocates the substrate resource through virtualizing the substrate resource to virtual resources, so as to enhance the efficiency of resource allocation.Virtual network mapping technologies is a key to network virtualization. Virtual networks are mapped onto substrate networks by virtual network mapping technologies, substrate resource are allocated to virtual networks in the meantime.Only through good virtual network mapping technologies can operators improve substrate resource usage efficiency, only through good virtual network mapping technologies can service providers improve service deployment success rate.Virtual network mapping technologies include node mapping and link mapping technologies within single infrastructure provider, and cooperation between multi-INPs.In this work, all the representative node mapping and link mapping algorithms are analyzed, and their shortages have surfed to the surface.HITS considers two important values of the substrate nodes:hub and authority, which reflect the resource condition of the whole topology, thus gains better results than present node mapping algorithms.Virtual network requests can be divided into two kinds:splittable requests and unsplittable requests. For splittable requests, PathSplit using MFP is considered to split requests and improve substrate resource usage efficiency. For unsplittable requests, queue and reservation bandwidth is used to enhance mapping reliability. As a result, using HITS in node mapping stage, PathSplit and queue in link mapping stage, the proposed algorithm enhances the revenue, the acceptance ration, and R/C ratio. When there are limited resource within single Infrastructure Provider, cooperation between multiple INPs can be considered to finish the virtual network request mapping. A request division paradigm is proposed in this work to divide one virtual network request into two, which are to be mapped in distinguished INPs. A message exchange system among INPs is also proposed for multi-INP cooperation.
