Rapid development of financial IT technology drives the revolution on the model of bank services. The self-service equipments featured by automation, efficiency, convenience and standardization, replace the artificial counters gradually, and become one important channel in banks’ retail business. It has three responsibilities:regular deals, value-added services and brand propaganda. With the population of self-service equipments deployed in banks, the amount, type, geographic distribution and transaction volumes of self-service equipments all increase rapidly. Now banks rely on multiple equipments providers managing their own software. But this situation can’t meet the needs of coming future. A series of problems arises, like separation of equipment management, lack of monitoring function, conflicts on version management, less data share, thus leading to the inefficiency of system development, low speed of equipment deployment, increased complexity of operation and management. Eventually, all these will affect the business evolvement of banks, leverage of services and the final clients’experience.Based on equipments and oriented to the management idea on overall lifecycle, this paper comes up with a solution for the above problems, which is to build a unified management platform for banks’self-service equipments. So this will unite the management of equipments, monitoring, versions and data. Applied "loosely coupled, relatively isolated" principle, our solution can be divided to M-end management sub-system, V-end monitoring sub-system, F-end file transportation sub-system and R-end report sub-system in the view of function logic. In this structure, M-end is the core of the system for managing the other three, and the other three separately responsible for real time monitoring, file transportation and report. So this can ensure the boundary of functions and isolation among processes. And at the end, this paper deploys the design idea of MVC, LoC, ORM, and builds a general framework under SSH (Structs+Spring+Hibernate). So the system can be divided into four levels:view, service, DAO and model. This can ensure the isolation between view, controller and model, and at the same time ensure the isolation of business logic level and persistence level. So it realizes the modularization of platform, flexible configuration, and high availability. By the implementation of the system, it can builds up a unified management view of different roles, thus decreasing the dependence on equipments providers, increasing system’s flexibility and data share. So we can provide a good support for the innovation of self-service equipments business.
