Research Of Integrated Network Management-Alarm Card System Based On Software Component

With the comprehensive reorganization of the telecommunication industries in China, an era of fixed-mobile convergence begins. The major telecom operators faces new challenges in integration and comprehensive management of network resources.The goal of this research is to achieve cross-platform, multi-disciplinary and centralized management of network alarms, to eliminate the information isolation between the general network management systems of the network elements and the specialized network management systems. Therefore network alarms in the entire network can be presented at the same platform, in a standardized form, which can enable pro-active network failure detection, fast failure positioning, automatic failure-resolving dispatch and supervision in order to achieve centralized, life-cycle monitoring and management of the network alarms and thus to improve the work efficiency. In this thesis, in the context of project construction of an integrated network management system of a telecom operator, a set of design based on the theory and technologies of software-component are proposed. The thesis discusses software component technology, object-oriented technology, multi-tier architecture etc., and focuses on component model in the domain of integrated network management system. It gives the analysis and construction methods of soft component and presents a detailed design of an integrated network management system.The variability of the user-demand and development/run-time environment has imposed higher requirements to network monitoring in a customer-oriented and business oriented network management system. This article based on design model of the integrated network alarm management principles, methods, technology and combined characteristics of running and maintaining of telecom enterprises, cured the integrated database middleware and the integrated IT network interface alarm card technology, designed a centralized, unified, standardized, scalable, comprehensive network management system of alarm card. At the same time, the collection of information on the model of alarm, alarm information associated methods, object-oriented data model were deeply discussed, the management of network and business layer constructed in the system structure of the integrated hierarchical system of alarm card achieved the alarm inter-professional association.In summary, this thesis proposed the design of an integrated network management system, based on the theory of software reuse and software components assembling. Based on the design, a cross-platform, reusable integrated network management system has been successfully developed and deployed. The system has been widely applied in a telecom operator and brought great effect.
