With the performance of the embedded system and the improvement of digital multimedia video decoding algorithm, various video processing embedded systems are springing up, just like the mushrooms after rain. EL-DM6446 is a DaVinci development kit launched by Beijing Techshing technology co.ltd to meet the needs of embedded video system market .Relyed on DM6446 and Linux system, The suite satisfy the video computing power and control functions, and also simplified the complexity of systems design.The existing DM6446 platform mainly based on embedded Linux operating system, but due to the rapid development of embedded system, and every different system has its own unique advantages. To help the customer of this platform to develop programs under multiple systems, utilize the kit more fully, the paper chose the transplantation of WINCE to DM6446, considering both the embedded system’s usability and universality. Most function of DM6446 BSP completed has verificatied through the actual operationbeen, and submitted to the cooperation company, which are well-run.The paper first discribed the WINCE system architecture and the development environment, analyzed the compilation of the kernel image. At the same time paper decomposes the composition of WINCE BSP, summarized the work load of platforms transplantation, and rigged the WINCE development environment. In the succeding chapters, the paper explaind in detail the realization process of WINCE BSP and burned the kernel mirror to flash using Uboot. Next , the paper implemented the key functions of OAL layer with start process. And then carried out many bottom peripherals’driver such as VPBE, VPFE, hard disk, SD etc based on WINCE drive model. Finally the paper put up case study analysis of WINCE application, and gave two application examples.
