With the rapid development of information-based society, China Railway High Speed has made remarkable achievements. At the same time, there is an ascending trend for demand high speed trains and ground wireless communication, including train control information and user-oriented broadband wireless access business.At present, second generation and third generation cellular mobile telecommunication systems is poor in supporting high speed mobile communication, resulting in reduced call quality, dropped calls, serious depletion of data rate. In this paper we will focus on the architecture of high speed broadband wireless access system and its analysis and feasibility, which is directed at wireless broadband access between350km/h and500km/h. And also, we will propose a solution to resolve or reduce the problem in high speed mobile communication, such as fast handoff, the Doppler frequency shift, fast time-varying wireless channel.Based on WiFi and WiMax under broadband wireless access system, and Radio over Fiber(RoF) under high speed mobile communication, we propose an architecture on high-speed wireless broadband access network system. As WiMax has not been successful apply to high speed mobile communication, we will do an in-depth analysis of WiMax and build a WiMax conduction model applied to high speed railway. In the same time, we will use the advantages to RoF combined with the design of mobile technology in community to reduce effect on the system. Moreover, performance results of these mentioned aspects will be presented.The thesis uses38figures,13tables and60references.
