The development of bionic robot has achieved significant results, but the structural design ofcomplex, high cost and energy supply constraints, making the bio-robot research into thebottleneck, at the same time, bio-robots are more and more researchers concerned, their biologicalneural transmission, control mechanisms used in the design. The key to development of biologicalrobots based on neurobiology, specific brain nuclei in the animals implanted electrodes must beimplanted in the precise structure of the animal brain and internal organizational characteristicshave a clear understanding as a precondition. The group’s research focuses on bio-gecko robots. The main work of this gecko brain slices oflarge color image segmentation, registration, and three-dimensional reconstruction to determine thebrain in the downtown core group within the spatial relationship between the gecko robot R&D toprovide reference data. First of all, through the production of a large gecko brain paraffin sections, the section staining, data acquisition operation, got a big gecko original color images of brain slices;Second, the use of two-dimensional Otsu algorithm to image the target region and backgroundregion segmentation; then, by comparing select the appropriate color space of the target area tofurther division within the different organizations; then, after treatment of the background map forregistration, the basic method used is based on single-mode projection image registration, and thenproposed lack of registration and registration of improved pan; Finally, three-dimensionalreconstruction of these patterns, restore the brain’s outer shape is also important brain nucleireflects the three-dimensional model for the depth of their brain function and micro-electrodeimplants provide morphological evidence. The project focused on the digital image processing in the brain slice image segmentation andregistration of the application, finding an effective method of image segmentation and imageregistration. The results show that split completely, with a high registration accuracy, realisticthree-dimensional reconstruction of three-dimensional images for stereotactic brain research andmicro-electrode implantation provides an important reference.
