Study On Detecting And Tracking Moving Objects Based On Davinci Technology

The technology that moving object detection and track is widely used in military, aviation,security,traffic and human computer interaction.The technology is strongly concerned because of itswidely application prospect.But,there have being big trouble when taking this technology duing to thecomplex application environment.The paper focus on the technology that being used in the monitor ofthe transmission line.It is critically important that the transmission line works safely and how to protect it from beingdestroyed duing to the external force becomes an important subject for the power department whotakes the responsibility for the maintenance of transmission lines.Especially,some large constructionmachinery such as the crane will be the danger factor to the transmission lines under whichcircumstance that the transmission line cross above the construction site where various machineryworking on.So it is meaningful of monitoring of the crane by taking the means of video surveillance.To satisfy the need,we develop the video surveillance system which has the ability to detect andtrack the target.The basic idea of the algorithm consists of four steps.Firstly,designating the area that needed tobe monitored carefully(usually,the area’s background is the sky and it is around the transmissionlines).Secondly,differentiating the neighbouring two frames of the video sequence based on themonitoring area.Thirdly,segmenting the moving object based on entropy of the result of steptwo.Lastly,getting and labeling the target after finishing doing the operation of filtering andmorphology of the result of the step three.The paper realizes the video surveillance system based on Davinci technology,H.264technology,network transmission technology of TCP and video displaying technology.Also,the experiment platform is introduced to test the result of the video surveillance system.Andthe results prove that it satisfies the need and has a good real-time performance.
