As an important means of verify people’s identity, handwritten signature has a longhistory. Especially in the modern information society, people’s handwritten signature isinevitably connected with their own daily behaviors with its high degree of uniqueness andreliability.Along with the increasing development of modern information technology, thecounterfeit handwritten signature technology has also developed; thus the research ofhandwritten signature recognition has become a hot topicThe research is mainly based on the basic theory and application of the handwrittensignature recognition technology of Surface Desorption Atmospheric Pressure ChemicalIonization Mass Spectrometry (SDAPCI-MS) imaging technology, it starts from theresearch background of offline handwritten signature recognition and the analysis ofdomestic and foreign research. Then it introduces in detail the principle of SurfaceDesorption Atmospheric Pressure Chemical Ionization Mass Spectrometry technology andthe image analysis process. Finally, it analyze the similarity algorithm and its improvement.The main work is as follows:The paper consists of four parts, respectively analysis and processing of handwrittensignature, study of algorithms, the improvement of algorithm, and the design andrealization of handwritten signature recognition technology.A new identification technology has been put forward on the basis of the existinghandwritten signature recognition technology. The new technology uses an emerging massspectrometry technology-Surface Desorption Atmospheric Pressure Chemical IonizationMass Spectrometry for image processing. When this technology is used in image analyzing,people can get the information of the features of handwritten signature, including imagesof the abscissa, ordinate and the corresponding peak, with no need for imagepre-processing. Therefore, the use of this technology is not only eliminates the need forimage pre-processing, but also can save the image feature value extraction process.Finally, the paper describes the hand written recognition technology which makesadvantage of similarity algorithm, and gives in detail the idea of similarity algorithm andthe design to achieve it, and highlights the improvements of similarity algorithm and thefinal recognition results.
