Multi-touch technique is a kind of input technology with fingers contact to control image, implemented by Human-Computer Interaction and hardware equipment。Four crucial elements for Multi-Touch based HCI are touch screen, gestures library, gesture tasks mapping, gesture recognition algorithm. The thesis is specified in these four parts. First analyzed four kinds of single-touch screen's technology principle and compared their performance. Then analyzed how the two kinds of projected capacitive touch screen to realize multi-touch. Gone with that was the study on 10 core gestures'action definition and tasks mapping principles, and a universal, touch screen independent TSDT gesture recognition algorithm was put forward.
