Research And Implemention Of Fiscal Server Performance Optimization In The Linux Environment

With the development and popularization of the networks, particularly with theLAN,"server" has began to be accepted and continue to be developed. Specializedservices on the server technology is continuous developed, and it continuouslyimprove the performance of the server. In various type of server systems, the mostcommon and most important is the database server, it’s good or bad performance isthe key to the whole system, in order to improve the performance of the databaseserver, the structure of the database server must be designed properly.The adjustmentand optimization of the database server is a gradual process, from the operatingenvironment, data structure and and applications and so on, which are able tocontinuously optimize.After a lot of running and testing，we come to a method that the optimization oftax control server can be done from three aspects. This paper first and foremostconsiderate the adjustment and optimization of the operating system, this is a staticoptimization process, according to the requirements and design of the FiscalManagement Information System, the server is running under the Ubuntu6.06systemenvironment, and we need to make cuts to it, leave only the useful application andfavorable system resources, and exclude the others and the factors which occupystorage space and affect server performance. The system used PostgreSQL database,and combined with the demands of commercial databases and PostgreSQL’s ownadvantages, in order to develop a system database with a good performance for theFiscal Management Information. Finally, the optimized system used in the networkreturns module. In this paper, from the Fiscal Management Information System Fiscalserver module, as well as the network tax function module, on the basis of theanalysis of server status, starting from the goal of improving database serverperformance, combined with the server operating environment which is Linuxoperating system, analyzed the factors impact the performance of database server, putforward some optimization strategies to database server performance, make someresearch and improvement in terms of system parameters of the database, application,server hardware, the Linux system’s reduction and the customization. Ultimately Ihope that through rational analysis and adjustment of system optimization, the Fiscalserver could achieve economic and practical value.
