Virtual plant modeling has a wide range of applications in today’s society, includingmany areas such as the simulation teaching and live entertainment medium and so on. Thispaper completed on the three-dimensional modeling of the branches of apple tree, flowers,fruit and leaves and simulation of the apple fruit development process, complete the three-dimensional visualization of apple trees’ modeling.In this paper, we use the recursive call method to generate a fruit tree branches forbranching model structure, during the recursive call process, introduce the randommechanism to control the growth of branches of the length and direction, combined withthe deformation technology, resulting in the branches of surface texture. Through thecylinder deformation, generate the peripheral bud shape of calyx or petals, the interceptionof part of the overall model as a single calyx or petals, this method can reduce the collisionoccurred between the sepals or petals own. Overall structural features of plant organs, witha cylindrical segmented deformation processing to achieve the pedicel and receptacle,pollen and anthers, pedicels and floral multiple organs at the same time shape, reflectingthe continuous features of plant organs, while reducing the budget of the modeling process.Finally, the establishment of plane deformation of the leaves’ modeling.The recursive method, random method and deformation method combining to build athree-dimensional fruit tree branches in this paper, the modeling has more realistic effect,using morphing technology segment deformation method is simply, fast at the modeling.
