In the energy and environmental concern today, solar energy research and application ofsemiconductor lighting systems has important significance. Semiconductor lighting systemsare solar PV off-grid applications, solar, energy storage devices, load interface, powerelectronics and other components for LED lighting, power electronic interfaces includingsolar and energy storage device interfaces and interface between storage devices and LEDload. This article LED to battery power electronic interfaces between the load as a researchobject.Batteries and power electronics, LED load interface, LED drive circuit, its main functionis to control the LED current is constant. This design has based on Boost DC transform circuitof LED drive of main circuit, and based on PWM technology of control circuit, based on statevariable switch cycle average method established has LED drive of mathematics model,analysis has LED drive of work principle, design has to switch current peak for controlvariable, and to HV9911 for control platform of simulation control policy, based on MATLABSimulink implementation has LED drive circuit of simulation, Meet the demands of constantLED current.LED driving circuit for power loss mainly by the loss of static and dynamic loss ofswitching devices, inductors and magnetic hysteresis loss and current sampling resistance lossand so on. To improve the efficiency of the LED drive circuit, have come up with aswitched-current detection method in this article, that is not using current sampling resistor inseries with the power MOSFET switch and through fast recovery diodes, uses theon-resistance power MOSFET itself to current detection switch. Design based on powerMOSFET on-resistance test simulation for switched-current circuits, tests confirmed that canimprove the efficiency of the LED drive circuit 3%.
