In recent years, Users of mobile communication system have been increasing rapidly and the multi-service requirement is strongly demanded. TD-SCDMA, one of the 3G mobile systems, is struggling to satisfy users’these new requirements. HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Packages Access), which is proved to be a good technology to improve capacity and throughput of mobile communication system has been introduced to TD-SCDMA system. In order to keep the improvement in the field of data communication in the fiece competion in the upper hand,continues to raise the minimum cost of data user feelings, improve the throughput of air interface has an important measure. The related research about improve the HSDPA alogorithm is so important, and the paper do some try for it. The system level simulation is very important for the study aout HSDPA.The main works in this paper are as follows:1.This paper gives a system level simulation platform of TD-SCDMA with HSDPA enabled. HSDAP specific data modules have been implemented in this platform, including AMC, HARQ, and fast schedule module. This platform is a good base for further research on new technologies of HSDPA because of its scalability and ease-of-use. A study on the capacity and throughput of HSDPA enabled TD-SCDMA is based on this platform.2.This paper proposes a technology which combines the AMC and power control to do the link adptive . It means the dynamic power control is introduced in TD-HSDPA system which can improve the HSDPA performance and is simulated in HSDPA system level platform.3.This paper also develops a new space division multiplex mechanism for TD-HSDPA based on the deep study about the smart antenna of TD-SCDMA system. A simulation of this mechanism is done on the platform of this paper. It shows that an improvement of throughput can be achieved by using this mechanism on HSDPA enabled TD-SCDMA system.
