The study of biological information has caused more and more widespread attention from each discipline, because biological information contains a large amount of information elements, and becomes one of the major frontier fields of the biological sciences and information technology. Meanwhile the human eye has its unique and stable biological structures, so it has been especially concerned by those experts of informatics. Nowadays, with the development of information technology, making use of the machine vision equipment, such as using your computer to complete the work of image information processing and implementing the function of computer recognition, has been a new emerging research topic. Therefore, the use of machine vision and image processing technology to complete the function of obtaining human biological information, will have more important significance in the biological sciences, medical diagnosis and so on.At present, the existing system of acquirement technology of human eye’s biological information has been more and more concentrate applied for the information acquisition and research of iris and retina of humans, and the technical requirements of making use of iris and retina to realize the functions such as biological recognition and medical diagnosis, have been increasingly perfect. However, the study of bulbar conjunctiva has been achieved the observation results of clinical disease by observation to bulbar conjunctiva. In view of this, a new method to achieve biological information acquisition of human eye based on machine vision is proposed in this paper. First of all, the microscopic images of micro vessel and blood red cell in bulbar conjunctiva will be obtained by microscopy combining with machine vision; secondly, the obtaining digital image information will be analysised and processed by using technology of digital image processing; finally, the result of analysis and treatment of the bulbar conjunctiva image will be the output to show. This research method proposed in this paper not only reduces the time and energy for manual detection to bulbar conjunctiva image, but also supplies more accurate scientific basis for medical research and diagnosis, and supplies a novel study approach for other research fields such as biological science technology.
