Micro-blog as a new media, is the inevitable outcome ofsocial development. Politically, micro-blog is a bridge between citizens and thegovernment, which is the lubricant in the progress of China’s democratization. Itmake our life developing continuously towards fairness, justice, democracy and legalsystem. Economically, micro-blog is a new mode of social wealth and a neweconomic growthing point. Culturally, micro-blog is a platform of contention andflourishing of numerous schools of thought, which is the incentive power ofpromoting the great development of socialist culture prosperity.As the developing fastest media, micro-blog is welcomed by the majority ofcollege students due to its highlight characteristics of spreading extensive, immediacy,convenience and grassroots. At the same time, it has a huge influence on theirthoughts and behaviors. But the existing relevant theory is far behind the developmentof micro-blog. Through a questionnaire surveyamong college students, which is to discuss micro-blog’s impact on ideological andpolitical education for college students and feasibility.
