| The teacher evaluation has been the focus of today’s educational theory field, which is one of the important means to promote the teacher’s growth and development. Teacher evaluation of the development that originated in the UK is the most suitable for China’s current higher vocational schools. Based on the research of evaluation of teacher professional development at home and abroad, the author found the evaluation has encountered many difficulties and problems in the implementation process. The reason is there aren’t the basic conditions.Starting from the implementation conditions and choosing five higher vocational schools in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, we analyzed the basic concept, theories, principle and the characteristic. The developmental teacher evaluation is to promote teachers’ development as the goal and pay more attention to the process, the subjects, evaluation results to guide, help and support them. Through investigation and interviews of177teachers in Taiyuan City, there exist the following problems in the current teacher evaluation:evaluation of the main single, teachers on the passive acceptance evaluation status; evaluation content is not reasonable, excessive pursuit of quantization; the evaluation method is not scientific, evaluation of subjective factors involved in too much; the lower enthusiasm of teachers’ participation in the process of evaluation; the unreasonable processing mode in the evaluation results.Such as evaluation system, evaluation of atmosphere quality of personnel, technical support, incentive mechanism, aren’t enough. Finally, the author puts forward to the strategies of implementation of the evaluation:create a good atmosphere, improve the evaluation democracy, science, advocating the reflection of cooperative evaluation culture; the reform of system, strengthen the consciousness of conversion of the role of school administrators, school teacher self evaluation intermediary system and teachers; guarantee the quantity and quality of personnel, improve the internal and external personnel quality, promote the cooperation; from the technical support; improve the incentive mechanism, arouse participants’ self awareness of participation, improve the performance appraisal of teachers.Having certain conditions, the implementation of the development of teacher evaluation is better in practice. Using the evaluation in practice is still a long way to go. In this paper, it has certain theoretical guidance and practical significance in practice. |
