Research On The Development Of Continuing Education Of Universities Of Fujian Province Under The Lifelong Education System

After China’s putting forward with the development strategy of West Strait Construction, Fujian province will face a new round of development. The development of economy and society cannot go smoothly without the support of education system, among which continuing education is an important means. In recent years, the country highlights continuing education in the education system to an important position in order to implement the target of studying society. At present, although many colleges and universities in Fujian province have preliminarily established a relatively perfect continuing education system, but there are still many problems. Therefore, further exploring of continuing education theory, analyzing of continuing education development, and finding of the problems in the continuing education, finding the countermeasures to solve the problem, establishing a set of suitable system to promote the development of continuing education and national economic and social development, do have an important theoretical and practical meaning.This paper first dwells on the concept and characteristics about the continuing education, introduces the domestic development of continuing education. Then the article compares the continuing education between the United States and Europe, summarizing the new features of China’s current continuing education. This paper focuses on the analysis of local colleges and universities in the development strategy of continuing education. First of all, it summarizes the current development of continuing education in colleges and universities, and then it illustrates the main problems. Finally, on the basis of the analysis, this paper discusses the measures of Fujian province colleges and universities to construct a lifelong education system under the target of developing the continuing education, puts forward to establish and improve the mechanism of continuing education, to accelerate the effective integration of resources and the construction of continuing education platform.
