The special education is an important part of the education career, also is the important content of building a harmonious society. To the development of special education, the teacher is the key. Can say, the whole quality of special education teachers decide the quality of the special education and professional level, directly affect the development of the disabled children’s life. Due to historical reasons, the current, are common in Fujian province and even in China special education school teacher shortage, the low level of specialization, has severely restricts the development of special education. In this context, to strengthen the continuing education of special education teachers’professional training, improve the effectiveness of the training, appear very urgent and necessary.This article mainly through questionnaire, interview and so on, of Fujian province special education teachers’ continuing education professional training of the status of the investigation, and according to the survey results, analyzes on the problems and reasons, and combined with the specific situation of the eastern Fujian province, from the perfect system of mechanism, diversity training mode, training base construction, to optimize the training content, perfecting the evaluation system put forward corresponding countermeasures. The author hope that through this topic research, on the one hand, provide a reference for relevant government departments decision-making, on the other hand to training institutions and special education school in the future to carry out the teachers continuing education training.
