| As is known to all, present education is generally divided intocollege education, high school education and elementary education, andstudents study in different schools at different stages. Thus the problem ofconnection of education appeared. Elementary education is the basis ofhigh school education, in turn, high school education is the deeperdevelopment of elementary school. The connection between junior highschool and senior high school draws the attention of most teaching staffs.In2009, the Inner Mongol Autonomous Region started thecurriculum revolution, and every school have been using the newcurriculum. Based on the teaching practice and feedback in these fewyears, the author thinks that it’s really difficult for senior students toconnect the junior and high knowledge. Especially, students in senior oneuniversally feel tough to learn The Earth in the Universe. The teachingsituation in the Inner Mongol Autonomous Region is that juniorgeography is noncredit subject. Influenced by the high school entranceexamination, junior geography is often pushes aside even elbowed outbecause it is acknowledged not essential. Therefore, students’ basis ofjunior geography is very weak. Moreover, the connection knowledge ofThe Earth in the Universe is learned in the junior one, so two years later,most knowledge is forgot rather than remembered. The most important isthat this part of knowledge has obviously different objects in junior and senior stages, so the span between them is virtually large, plus that thepart of knowledge is territory and concrete, the learning is so strenuous.Therefore, it is of great importance to study how to make goodconnection between junior high school and senior high school inteaching.Aimed at looking for theory support and data support of teachingconnection, especially about The Earth in the Universe,which is in thecourse of senior one, this paper adopts the main research techniques: theliterature methodology, the questionnaire survey procedure, thecomparison analytic method, the experience method and so on. Based onthe fact of junior teaching, by putting the teaching theories into practice,exploration and attempts have been done in researching the connectionbetween junior and senior high geography teaching.This paper includes three chapters. Chapter one introduces thebackground, content and significance of the study, and the study methods.Chapter two is to find out the causes of the teaching connection problemsthrough investigation the present teaching situation of geography learningin senior one, and analysis and cooperation of the curriculum of juniorand senior geography. In chapter three, the author proposes correspondingcountermeasures to solve the teaching connection problems from teachingsystem teaching material, teaching method, learning method, evaluationmethod, etc. |
