In modern society, the phenomenon of teenagers’ doing injuries to themselves orothers, some even claiming lives occurs frequently, which results from the teenagers’lack of life consciousness and not respecting the lives of others and themselves. It alsoreflects that the proportion of entering schools of a higher grade occupies an importantplace in contemporary school education, which causes the school paying too muchattention to the students’ grades rather than their focus on the development of life. Thus,the greatest significance should be attached to life education in secondary school. Weshould raise students’ awareness of life, respect life, cherish life and love life. Therefore,I make great efforts to involve life education in biological teaching, hoping that it canincrease students’ life values.This dissertation consists of six parts. Part I is the introduction to the dissertation,containing the background of implementation of life education, the research of thecurrent situation of life education at home and abroad, and the meaning of the study.Part II is the discussion of connotation of life education. Part III is a survey of ourschool students knowledge of life consciousness. Part IV is the feasibility and measuresof life education in senior high school biological teaching, according to the results of thesurvey. Part V is examples of how to involve life education in the biological teaching.Part VI is a meditation on this research. By involving life education in biologicalteaching, the implementation of life education is of maneuverability, making biologicalteaching lively.
