As a typical example of Hui ethnic group’s secondary vocational education, Arabic language school has become an important part of the education of Hui ethnic group, which will be mentioned as Huizu per below. Although the ethnical education from mainstream of the society hold some advantages, including the expansion of enrollment from universities and colleges, and the preference provided by ethnical higher education, as well as the ethnical religious education supported by government, it has not yet stopped the development Huizu’s own education. Both Huizu’s private schools and private schools with the support of government are rising like spring shoots, though they are too insignificant to be mentioned as compared to the mainstream society. Adopting the modern teaching method, the Arabic schools aim at teaching both Chinese language and Arabic language and cultivating talents of both religion and social practice, thus growing into be the most important pillar in Huizu’s education system.Although, Huizu’s eduction are trying to integrate Confucian culture into Islamic culture,and all kinds of education are accepted by common people within Huizu group, it is still restrained by many factors. Graduates from Arabic schools are scattered in every field of the society,representing as more than an individual but the Huizu group,or even the image of our nation.In regarding to the environment of Huizu’s higher education, besides the civil vocational&college education,higher religious education,more significantly,some of students choose to study abroad for further education.Through Huizu’s cultural demonstration, knowledge innovation and mechanism manipulation which are based on its ethnical educational circle, Huizu group succeed to resolve the relation between the minority group and major group of the nation, religion group and government, civil society and government authority. However,the Huizu group are not given enough attention as it supposed to be. I had tracked this special group and explored deeply into the overseas education of the students who graduated from Arabic schools founded in China. And according the situation, a summary is made to analyze the advantage and disadvantage of this group’s education background. The summary is expected to provide referential suggestions for the improvement of Huizu education. Deepening the implementation of idea of combining Chinese and Arabic teaching, integrating Huizu’s education resources efficiently, enlarging the space of education level’s improvement, and finally strive for the establishment of Islamic universities is exactly the solution for improving the group’s cultural and education level.In regarding to either primary or secondary education, many far-sighted Huizu people have spared no efforts in their ethnical education career since the origination of Huizu group. The development of Huizu’s education are closely related to China’s political environment of different historical periods, internal subjectivity of the group and its cultural awareness. However, as resolving the relation with the mainstream culture, Huizu needs the attention and support of the state, as well as foresight of its own education elites.
