The attribute is the most basic characteristic of the matter. It can reflect the originalappearance of every thing. If we want to know something in a general and objective way, weshould grasp its attribute first. The same is true with the biology teaching, if we want to know theessence of biological disciplines, and try to improve the current situation of the biology teaching,we should begin with the attributes studying. In this point, it has important implications for us tograsp the attributes of biological disciplines. This research is worth to be valued.This research considers “the attributes of biological disciplines” as its subjects, and usesliterature study, critical argument, induction and deduction as its major methods. By studying thecurriculum standards, textbooks,and other educational works of biological disciplines in themiddle school, the research analyses the main attributes of biological disciplines, and gives somestrategies about how to use them in the biology teaching.Based on the above ideas, this paper is divided into three parts on the structure:The first part is the summary, which is the start of the article. It defines the main concepts ofthe paper, and discusses the latest development, the theoretical basis, the purposes and thesignificance of the research.The second part is the text, which also is the main body. In this part, all attributes ofbiological disciplines are be divided into four parts:they are the theoretical attributes, thepractical attributes, the cultural attributes and the synthetical attributes. Under the main parts,there are also twelve important attributes such as “the attribute of life”“the attribute of ideology”“the attribute of human culture” and so on. This part expounds the connotation and the concretemanifestation of every attribute. Besides, the second part explains the inspiration which theattributes give to the biology teaching as well.The third part is the conclusion. It makes a brief discussion of the research, and bringsforward the deficiency and prospect of this paper.After a series of discussion and analysis, the author comes to a conclusion that the researchabout attributes of biological disciplines is an important part of the biological teaching theory. Itcan help the researchers come into the essence of the biological disciplines and adjust the biology teaching. The purpose of this paper is to improve the learning ability of the students, todevelop the biology education and to spread the biology ideology. In a word, it makes a goodsense to the biology teaching.Being based on the study of biological teaching experts and the tutor, this research makes afurther study of the biological disciplines. It adds several new thoughts to the previous researchand gives advices about how to use the paper in the biology teaching. It is expected that thispaper can provide some suggestion to the biology teachers in the middle school. It is alsoexpected to attract more and more experts to pay attention to the attributes of biologicaldisciplines. Then the position of biological disciplines will be more important, and the biologyeducation will be more meaningful.
