With the rise of positive psychology in recent years, Thanksgiving gradually become the focus ofpsychology research.Numberous studies show that gratitude is one of the personality traits whichhave great impact on individual positive development.For teenagers are in gratitude forpsychological development stage,it has important theoretical and practical value to give themgratitude tutoring.This study tries to adopt group psychological counselling for middle schoolstudents gratitude tutorial,then study the process and result of the counseling,which can providereference material.for relevant aspects of the application and theory research.This study includes six sections.The first section is pointing out the issue that it’s verynecessary to give middle school students gratitude tutoring,and gratitude tutoring is the importantpart of the psychology tutoring.The second section is literature review,which give a introduction of theconcept,origin,classification,measurement,theoretical basis,research field and interventionstrategy of gratitude.The third section is study design. The objective,plan,tools and the participants’ choosingand distribution of this study are illustrated based on related theories and researches in thissection.This counseling mainly adopt the way of group psychological counseling, The researchproceeds in the way as pretest-intervention-after test-analyze, and the pretest and after test isbased on Teenager Gratitude Scale score.The fourth section is the process and analysis of the counselling.It is made up of sixparts:the gratitude of parents,teachers,friends,society nature,and the summary of the counselling.For each phase of the coaching process, this paper has a detailed description and analysis.The fifth part is the results of the study. We used the adolescent gratitude scale to measurethe students before and after the counselling, and the results show that the guidance effect isremarkable.The sixth part is the discussion and reflection. Summarise the meaning, methods, techniquesand deficiency of this counseling.The seventh part is conclusion. Summarizing the research results of this study. Appropriatecounseling can enhance the lable of adolescents’ gratitude,the counseling should inculde thegratitude of parents,teachers,friends,society and nature from three aspect of cognition, affect and behavior.Group psychology is an effective method,games, stories for empathy, discussion toshare are very valid ways.
