Research On Technological System And Cultural Features Of Bawangboxing

The Chinese martial arts which is rich in content and variety has a very long history. Asa big province of martial arts, Shanxi Province occupies an important position over the wholecountry, also it has great implications at home and abroad. Being one of the rare boxing, BaWang Boxing is mainly spread in Shanxi Province and it is intact on technology system. In1980s, the researchers has did a lot of work on details and collations. But there still has somesome imperfection due to the influence of parochial prejudice and other traditional reasons.Some of the folk old boxers tend to be reserved even avoid meeting. This study will continueto fulfill this rare kind of boxing according to the previous studies.First of all,there are no records about its first reference of the Ba Wang Boxing inprevious studies. So I combine the Chinese martial arts history and the Ba WangBoxing’s impact on the future generations through the method of literature research. Then Ifound that Ba Wang Boxing was named after later generations and it is producedin the Song Dynasty in Shandong Province.Then, according to the intensive interview with descendants of the overlord and folkwushu master, sort out the achievement method of the overlord and perfect the achievementmethod system of the overlord. According to the research of inheritance history andachievement method of the overlord, summary and finishing the style characteristic of theoverlord.At last, this study provide a few of feasible methods for the future development of BaWang Boxing through the research about the actuality and prominent fitness value of it.
