In the process of cultural modernization,how does traditional excellent culture connect with modern times? It is a question to be answered by all the traditional cultural heritages.At a time when globalization and modernization are accelerating,the discussion on this question is more urgent.How to further inherit wushu in the process of modernization? What should be worth preserving and what must be eradicated? Where are the ways to "inherit" and "innovate" ? Is the logical starting point of this study.At present,theoretical research on the modernization of wushu,habitual thinking path are mostly focus on the "high",and the lack of underlying horizons,however,the modernization of wushu development,after all,is not a rational design process,the important fact that this is a well known,therefore,need to be attention to the underlying vision.Based on this,this study from the perspectives of "bottom",the "view" mode,select Wang Xiangzhai a military man as a case,using the history study,explanatory narrative method,and the oral history research,WuShu and life of a military man thought of "inheritance and innovation" course,evolution and value are studied,so as to the modernization of the WuShu or wushu "inheritance and innovation" to provide as a reference or enlightenment.The study concluded:1.Born in 1886 Wang Xiangzhai,virtues countryside in their childhood and early sowing seeds "worship of WuShu",and its medical family background,"poor elements" of childhood education,as well as for the "weak" word,but no "scholars" of instrument,such as different from the general military man,all constitute the revises Quanshu techniques and theories as a revolutionary.4.The contemporary value and modern enlightenment of wang xiangzhai's boxing thought:Contemporary value mainly has three points: first,he inherit and reinterpretation of original boxing,boxing for the traditional to the modern transformation in a series of exploration and efforts,is trying to integrate the traditional WuShu in modern China and modern society docking important units.Secondly,he combines the essence and dross of all boxing,innovates and constructs boxing,and provides a practical operation paradigm for the modernization transformation of contemporary boxing.Thirdly,he puts forward the "theory of heavy boxing" and emphasizes empirical evidence,and treats the theory and practice of boxing with scientific discourse.More importantly,he showed the attitude of "governing WuShu" to the Chinese WuShu,which has many inspirations for the modern development of wushu.Of course,his boxing thought also has certain historical limitations.On the other hand,the function of "mentoring" system has not been fully recognized.Revelation: can be found in the Wang xiangzhai on the individual experience,he first to sort out the experience of the home traditional boxing,and then,amid rising to face the challenge of the western his criticism and negation of "set" growing,puts forward the new system of new boxing.After the founding of new China,he turned tothe concept of "health preservation" and put forward the idea of "fighting and nourishing one body".His boxing thought has been adjusted with the
