An Analysis Of Political Instructors’ Job Burnout

Political instructors play important role in colleges. They are the backbone in theideological and political education for college students, and the mentor during thedevelopment of college students. What’s more, they are the instructors in the student’smorality education, organizers of student’s activities, coordinators of academic affairs, andoperators of unexpected incidents. However, due to a lot of work, huge job and livingpressures and low incomes, etc., it is very easy for political instructors to generate jobburnout which results in the ideological and political education running roughly, andgenerates a lot of harm to the physical and psychological heath of political instructors. Inthis way, it is not good for development of college students. Increasing research onpolitical instructor job burnout is good for political instructors’ psychological enduranceand psychological immunity improvements, and takes advantage of moving forward thevocationalization of political instructors.The thesis is divided into the following four parts:The first part is the introduction of the thesis. It presents the writing background andsignificance of choosing subject. The section also includes the definition of job burnoutand political instructor, domestic and oversea research summary, and innovation and weakpoints.The second part is the survey analysis of political instructors. The part stresses theresult of the survey and educes that political instructors in Anhui province are suffering thejob burnout. And through the analysis, we find three symptoms of job burnout are emotionexhaustion, depersonalization, and diminished personal accomplishment.The third part is to mainly analyze the causes of job burnout for political instructors.The author thinks the following points are the causes of the job burnout: huge workpressure, the inequality between social expectation&job acceptation and social evaluation,insufficient professional training and inspiration measures, and interior character ofpolitical instructors.The last part brings forward the countermeasures solving the job burnout of politicalinstructors.
