Constructing the modern vocational and technical education teaching method system is of great significance no matter to improve the vocational and technical education teaching qualities, or to rich modern vocational and technical education teaching theories. This thesis, using literature study and investigation method, through comprehensive analysis of the present research situation of the vocational and technical education teaching method system of and vocational college teachers’ and students’ sampling survey, found that at present research results of the principle of vocational and technical education teaching method system are fewer and there is some deficiency in width and depth of research, scientific, recognized and modern vocational and technical education teaching method system has not been established. In practice, most of the teachers reflect that the choice of teaching methods of the vocational and technical education is more difficult. Traditional teaching methods still occupy the main position in the class. Teaching modes and teaching methods according with the characteristics of Vocational and technical education are not widely used. Most students reflect that teachers’teaching method is unitary and the harvest of school learning is not big. The students expect that teachers can reform teaching methods in order to improve the ability of self-learning.Based on system theory, knowledge theory, work process theory, learning theory and multiple intelligence theory, the thesis researches the construction path, guiding ideology,basis,structure, content and application of the modern vocational and technical education teaching method system. According to the characteristic of the modern vocational and technical education teaching method system, the thesis puts forward that the comprehensive vocational ability is the orientation, students are the center as the guiding ideology, taking the hierarchy theory as the basis, constructing the modern vocational and technical education teaching method system. Modern vocational and technical education teaching method system is divided into two big systems in this thesis:general teaching methods and professional ability training.The thesis constructs the modern vocational and technical education teaching method system, and researches its protection and utilization preliminarily.
