American English with its powerful economic strength as background by therapid development in the global, overseas English education has achieved outstandingresults. The United States International English promotion policy is the main objectsof study in this paper, the United States International English promotion policyformulation and implementation are the core topic. Paper will be divided into fourchapters to study English education policy on the promotion:The first chapter is combing the English international promotion policy from thesource and course of development. In the first chapter, we will focus on the U.S.English language development in three stages: first stage:(early17th century to the18th century) the colonial era (colonial period); the second stage:(late18th to late19th century) domestic development (national period); during the third phase:(sincethe late19th century) period of internationalization (international period). On thebasis of historical analysis, we sum up the reasons of the international promotion ofAmerican English from both internal and external factors.In the second chapter, we analyze the development and implementation ofinstitutions of international policy on the promotion of American English. Thespecific agency of American English international promotion policy development andimplementation is divided into two categories: governmental organizations and civilsociety organizations. In the second chapter, we focus on the relevant government andcivil society organizations, at the same time,we analyze the relationship betweengovernment agencies and private organizations in their respective roles in theinternational promotion of American English.In the third chapter, we analyze the international promotion policy of AmericanEnglish. In the first section of this chapter, we will outline the relevant policies of theinternational promotion of American English. In the second section, we analyze theimplementation of strategies and specific ways of international policy on thepromotion of American English.In the fourth chapter, according to the foundation of the first three chapters onaspects of international policy on the promotion of American English, we summarizethe characteristics of international policy on the promotion of American English andanalyze the implementation effectiveness. Finally, we analyze the challenges of thecurrent context of economic globalization faced by the international policy on thepromotion of the American English.
