To improve the quality of personnel training and the school’s reputation is anpressing and realistic task suspends in front of Civilian-run Colleges and universities.In practice, occupation career planning education have very important significancefor students to make society, education and occupation together, to make a clear target,to inspire their learning motivation, to improve the employment competitiveness andadaptability to the society.Occupation career planning education in schools at all levels in some developedcountries, such as the United States, Britain, Canada, Japan, have been generallyrecognized and extensive. The occupation career education in developed countries，through the process from preschool to adult ’s education, is a kind of education tocarry out the " occupation career " concept and " occupation career " ready in variousstages of the school education.It’s purpose is to make students have a correspondingoccupation knowledge and skills, at the same time, training students to understandthemselves, and have the capacity to choose the life road actively, it is required tomake the knowledge impart and their future work and life patterns combined in theprocess of education from kindergarten to adult. Students accept a full range of services for the employment provided by the University Department of employmentguidance at the university stage. Colleges and universities guidethe students how to evaluate themselves, establishing the occupation target accordingthe analysis of the college students’ personality characteristics, hobbies, specialty,and the social nature of the occupation, this enhance the competitiveness of collegestudents, and improve the efficiency of social human resources to some extent.Our country introduce the concept of "career planning", is due to the collegestudents employment difficulties in recent years. MAX make a report about theChinese college students employment "the college students graduated in2011havelower level of basic working ability than the work requirement". And career planningcan help students understand themselves, explore career, and stimulate personalgrowth desire with effective methods and tools, the core mission to help students torealize their life career ideal, is to improve college students’ employment competitivepower.Based on this, this paper takes Jilin Huaqiao Foreign Languages Instituteoccupation career planning design as the research object, using the theoreticalanalysis method, questionnaire survey method, interview method, statistical analysismethod to do the research. This paper firstly analyzes the theory content of theoccupation career planning, and make some analysis of the private colleges’development course, and the training target and the characteristics of student groups.Through the questionnaire survey and interviews, they analysed the career planningproblems of student. Based on this, they established the principle that theoccupation career planning should follow, finally put forward a college studentoccupation career planning design for the specific contents: Set up the whole processof the career planning course system, introduce scientific career assessment tools,providing personalized professional consulting service, set up the social practiceplatform for the career education. For the smooth implementation of career planningscheme, we should implement security conditions for strengthen the funds investment,establish of career management administration, establish professional career planningeducation teachers team, establish a scientific quality control and examination mechanism, Establish a effective carrier to guide students to plan consciously.
