Minority students is very important to human resources, they are the hope of the nation, but also the future of the motherland. Now, as an important base for training minority talent, our national institutions have been training a lot of talent for the minority areas. But it can not meet the need that the long-term, rapid development of the minority areas. Therefore, many mainland universities have also begun recruiting minority students. There are a number of inadequacies in the method of culturing minority students compare with the sophisticated methods of the national university. Meanwhile, with the change of environment at home and abroad, the exchange in various fields has become frequently, and it makes cultural diversity become much more prominently; the information from the network has become extremely rich, no matter what the information is harmful and useful. These make the ideological state of minority students is changing. Thus, it is very important that how to strengthen the ideological and political quality education of the minority students.Therefore, this article analyzed the positive factors and negative factors of the ideological condition of the minority students of ordinary colleges and universities, and it is based on the research of the ideological condition. We found that the mainstream is still good, but there are also some of the problems can not be ignored. The main reasons are the adverse education factors from the source place of the minority students; the lack of ideological and political quality education of the ordinary colleges and universities; the impact from the multicultural society. Therefore, this article focuses on the lack of ideological and political quality education of the ordinary colleges and universities, and then to found the effective and targeted measures of the ideological and political quality education for the minority students of ordinary colleges and universities, in order to enrich the theory of ideological and political education of the minority students, train more ethnic minority talent; and promote the economic development and stability of minority areas.
