On Innovation Of Ideological And Political Education In Colleges And Universities From The Perspective Of Humanity Harmony

Since it has been the mainstream of ideological trend to stick to the scientific outlook on development and the ideology of being human-oriented, respecting human esteem, emphasizing human value, improving individual’s happiness, pursuing the over all development of human beings and realizing people’s "Chinese dream" in the present era, it is a must for the ideological and political education to follow the steps to shoulder the responsibility of identifying the value and meaning of life, constructing the spiritual homeland for people and promoting the educatees to enrich and refine their humanity by molding temperate, purifying spirit, improving temperament, shaping trait and nurturing virtue so as to be a harmonious human with a unified personality of being true, good and beautiful. This paper aims at proposing efficient methods and models for the ideological and political education to cultivate college students with harmonious human nature, which follows the law of development of ideology and moral character formation and the rule of the ideological and political education, guided by Marxism, directly depended on Marxist human thought and based on the research of the current ideological and political quality, the current development status as well as the environment for growth of college students nowadays.This paper is composed of four parts.Chapter one is the introduction of this paper, in which the origin and significance of this study, the relevant literature review, the research methods and routes, and the innovation points were introduced. This research originated from the conflicts of human natures presented by today’s college students and the problems facing the ideological and political education in reality, which is the aim of the scientific outlook on development, the inevitable requirement for the disciplinary development of ideological and political education and the healthy growth of contemporary college students. Considering the deficiencies of the existed research results on the current situation of the harmonious humanity and the value of ideological and political education to human nature development and its realizing approaches, this paper attempts to innovate in the parts of selecting topic, concrete content and research methods by adopting documentary research and empirical research methods.Chapter two is about the theoretical analysis of harmonious humanity and innovation in college ideological and political education. In this chapter, the connotation of the Marxism human nature harmony and the relations between humanity, human nature and personality were analyzed. Besides, we carded, borrowed and integrated the humanity thoughts and its moral education theories from home and abroad. Further more, we analyzed the connotation of the college ideological and political education innovation and we revealed the dialectical unification relation of humanity harmony and the ideological and political education. The inevitability and significance of college ideological and political education innovation in the perspective of humanity harmony were discussed in this chapter.Chapter three is about the empirical analysis of harmonious humanity and innovation in college ideological and political education. On the basis of theoretical research, this paper provides reference in reality for college ideological and political education to cultivate humanity harmonious college students by surveying with self-composed questionnaire, investigating the current ideological and political quality status, development status and the environment quality of college students and their mutual relations. Generally speaking, their current ideological and political quality, development status and the development environment quality are good, but there are some problems. With the diversification and liberalization of their ideological and political quality, the problems of individual healthy developing increased and the development environment became complicated. All suggested that the three elements are in significant positive correlation.Chapter four explores the approaches to put the college ideological and political education innovation in the perspective of humanity harmony into practice based on the first three chapters. In order to cultivate humanity harmony college students, college ideological and political education should set up the ideology of being human-oriented, educating harmoniously and practically. It should strengthen the connotation of college ideological and political education by digging the cultural connotation of its teaching content, launching excellent traditional culture education and constructing elegant campus culture. It should promote the systematic contents innovation of being harmony in the respects of mind and body, individual and group, as well as human and nature. It should hold the ideological and political theory class as the position of major battle field, putting it into everyday life, and instructing them self-teaching to innovate college ideological and political education approaches and methods. And it is necessary to optimize education environment and strengthen the college ideological and political educators’soft power construction.To summarize, the differences between this research and the former researches in the aspects of research sphere and angle are listed as follows. This research examined the college ideological and political education system in the perspective of humanity harmony and value goal, placing particular emphasis on the combination of theoretical research and empirical quantitative fine research. Finally, this research concentrated on exploring the practical approaches of innovating college ideological and political education and cultivating humanity harmony college students. I truly hope it may provide useful references for promoting college ideological and political education development and be able to cause people’s attention to this issue.
