The learning methods of undergraduates,who are the subjects of education.are associated with quality of higher education.The learning status of students in research universities is not optimistic.and the phenomenon of "learning for examination"is widespread.On the basis of former researches, this thesis has been to carry out a study by making the research questionnaire with the guidance of the suggestions of several experts in fields of education and educational psychology and then samples of students of Hunan University will be collected. With the help of SPSS16.0and Excel data statistic software, the analysis of the295effective data shows that the phenomenon of "learning for examination"among research universities’students showns in four aspects:learning motivation,learning content,time allocation and the impaction of evaluation system,including lacking of learning interest,skipping commonly;strong utilitarian,studying only before the exams,learning what is tested,keening to certificate examinations,closed book exams encouraging "learning for examination",examination system not conducive to stimulating learning interest and so on.In the perspective of Approach to Motivation and Achievement Theory, the phenomenon,which is effected by "teaching for examination",teaching methods,evaluation system,guiding by teachers and parents improperly,campus culture,and employment environment,can be ascribed to a dominating idea on performance goal orientation and utilitarian social goal orientation.In order to eliminate it we should strive against "learning for examination" from those aspects,including constructing positive view of knowledge.deepening the reform of "teaching for quality preforming of teaching methods to stimulate learning interest,improving the evaluation system,constructing high-bloodedacademic environment,cleaning campus culture and building equitable employment environment. |
