In the important period of development of science education, science teachers play animportant role in the development of science education.Comb the modern developmentcontext of the science teachers in the General Middle School and Elementary school,andexplore the experiences and lessons of modern science teachers development, in order toprovide a reference for the development of contemporary science teachers.In modern times,along with the rise of science education, development, and science teachers group have theformation, develop, expansion.After a tortuous and extraordinary course of development,there are brilliant achievements, and also rough lessons. From a historical perspective back,summing up experiences and lessons for the future is the main purpose of this article.This article uses historical, literature research methods to carriy out a detailed analysis ofthe composition and quality of Chinese modern science teachers. And it is divided into sixparts:The first part: clarifies topics of origins and values of this study, and reviews relatedfields of research, clearly defines core concepts of this article.The second part: details analysis of the Westernization Movement science teachers,summarizes the basic characteristics of this period, the composition and quality of scienceteachers.The third part: Analysis of the reform movement and the New Deal period scienceteachers, combing the composition and quality of the science teachers.Part fourth part: elaborates the science teachers of the basic situation of the Republic ofChina on the issue of the composition and quality of the science teachers of the Republic ofChina.The fifth part: on the basis of the above analysis, sum up the experience of the overalldevelopment of modern science teachers.The sixth part: combined with the development of the modern historical period scienceteacher, summarize and analyze issues raised revelation.
