Elementary education is not only the foundation project of educational undertakings in our country, but also the most important part of educational work. While, Chinese education is the basis of elementary and national education. The 21 century is the quickly developing period, Chinese economic, art, science and technology have changed a lot. Facing the coming of knowledge economic and information period, also facing the history needs of improving quality education, there are higher and newer requirements for the Chinese teachers' quality.This thesis is focus on the general problems of Chinese teachers' following qualities in the 20 century. They are ideological and ethical standards, educational idea, knowledge structure, ability to innovate, modern educational ability and aesthetic judgment. It emphasizes three parts: make up the Chinese teachers' quality of advanced educational idea which are wide Chinese educational idea, human educational idea, all-life study educational idea, information educational idea. It also analyzes the creative ability quality of Chinese teachers. That's to say, teachers should improve the own creative ability, emphasize to make the students' creative ability, make the own teaching unique, use the ability quality of modem educational technology which is using the muti-media technology and the ability of information technology.The thesis expects Chinese teachers will improve the quality structure adapting to the modem Chinese educational trend.
