Around the world, curriculum implementation as a special field of study enteredinto people’s research perspective between the end of the1960s and the early70s.However, in our country, the embryonic research of the curriculum implementationstarts from the reform and opening up. Since the1990s, with the deepening andlocalization of curriculum theories research, and the propel of the curriculum reform,more and more researchers gradually pay attention to curriculum implementation, andcurriculum implementation become a relatively independent research field.In recent years, with the propel of elementary education reform, theoretical andpractical researches on curriculum implementation have increased continually. Thenumber of the thesis on curriculum implementation also increased year after year; Thenumber of researchers was expanding, too; Research topics were unceasinglydeepening and diversifying; Research methods were also increasingly diverse andscientific; Especially in recent5years, study on curriculum implementation hasalready entered the boom. Meanwhile, the curriculum implementation study of ourcountry also has many problems, such as theoretical researches lag behind andpractical researches、A main body of researchers is relatively single、repeatedresearches、theoretical analysis method is still the primary research method, and so on.In order to more clearly understand China’s research situation of curriculumimplementation, it is necessary to review the study of the curriculum implementation.This study statistically analyses the curriculum implementation literature from1990to2010in by using bibliometric analysis. It analyses the curriculumimplementation literature from the research topics, the research team, and the researchmethods in detail.
