The martial arts teaching in secondary schools is a long carry forward the Chinesemartial arts culture, and important way to enhance the quality of students’ physical, is todevelop the basic content of the all-round development of students and physically labor.Therefore, we must fully understand the importance of martial arts teaching insecondary schools, especially in economically underdeveloped areas, should cause theour attention.Shandong is one of the Chinese Wushu development regions, all regions of theprovince by the history, culture and reality, and many other factors have shown thecharacteristics of their own development.Shandong northwest of the region’s majorcities and counties in Texas, Liaocheng, Binzhou,commercial river, Jiyang and other asthe object of study, the use of a variety of research methods to investigate the region’ssecondary schools martial arts teaching and research. Through the survey visits to16secondary schools in the Northwestern,25leaders,50teachers,1000students,basicgrasp the status of secondary school teaching of martial arts courses in the regionfewerschools: First, this region secondary schools to offer a martial arts class, can not meetthe needs of the students’ development; Second, the leadership, although certainly therole of martial arts movement, also recognized the importance of martial arts, but isreluctant to spend money to support the martial arts teachingstays at the spiritual level;Middle School Physical Education teachers’ professional is not strong, especially in theless martial arts professional teachers and the existence of teaching experience andtechnical level of a serious imbalance in the phenomenon; secondary school students ofthe region’s most popular martial arts movement, but is not high school sports teachingand teacher recognition. From the Northwestern College of Martial Arts Teaching the status quo, we canconclude that following the development of countermeasures. First, the competentauthorities to change their thinking, attention to the secondary school martial artsteaching, strengthen supervision and management of schools; the two schools toimprove the utilization of martial arts venue, to create a learning environment forstudents; is to strengthen the teaching staff, the role of teachers of physical educationconversion, the teacher leads the way and the organizers of student learning; is based onthe actual situation of the region and students, the scientific and rational arrangement oftextbook content to enrich the teaching methods, the use of teaching resources. In short,we should take all effective measures to promote the smooth development of the martialarts teaching of the Northwestern, and provide an important reference for otherprovinces and cities in the martial arts teaching.
