Accompanied by the changes of the society, the development trend of living conditionpresents diversification and complexity, and having a growing number of factors that threatenthe safety of human life, the security issue is gradually becoming the focus of today’s society.Because of the under-level of individual cognitive, physical and mental immaturity, and lowself-protect ability, primary and middle school students’ safety are facing a growing challengeas a special group in the community. How to promote primary and middle school students’safety awareness and self-defense ability from the aspect of security education to protect theirsafety not compromised has become a prominent issue for today’s sociologists, especiallyeducators in educational practice. This article analyses the current situation of safetyeducation and typical cases of the primary and middle school in Lubei District, Tangshan,which is based on this context, through the use of questionnaires, interviews, case studies andother methods. Then finding and summarizing the existing problems and putting forward thecorresponding countermeasures to provide a reference for the building of local primary andmiddle school students’ safety and security system, to provide a reference for other areas ofschool safety education practice, and to provide material for more researchers.The thesis is divided into five parts:The first part introduces the background and the theoretical and practical significance ofthe safety education in the primary and middle schools in Lubei District, Tangshan.Meanwhile elaborates the current situation of the safety education in primary and middleschools at home and abroad.The second part investigates the current situation of the safety education in primary andmiddle school in Lubei District, Tangshan through the survey form. The questionnaireincludes basic information, the implementation of safety education, the psychological statusand current safety situations of primary and middle school students under investigation.The third part mainly analysis the typical life injury event in primary and middle schoolsin Lubei District and investigate the reasons;At the same time, in the sub-case analysisbased on life security damage caused by primary and secondary school students, from various levels of society, schools, families, dissect and explore the many potential factors;The last part makes some suggestions on safety education on the basis of educationissues and harmful factors for primary and middle school students in Lubei District. Thusbuild a life-safety system to make the primary and middle school students’ safety protected.
