Sample Rotation And Application In National Rural Household Survey Of China

Rural household survey is an important survey of national surveys, and a good wayfor the government to keep abreast of and master the economic and social conditions of therural area. It’s a significant basement for the government to formulate the policy “threeproblems about countryside,agriculture and farmers” and macro-economic control. Fromthe start of the1950s, China’s Rural Household Survey has been for some tim. But in thenew economic and social situation, there are still many problem to solve and how tosample rotate more scientific is one of them.In regular surveys, the sample aging is one of the important issues facing the practice.Reasonable sample rotation design can improve the accuracy of the investigation、facilitate the investigation process and reflect the new features of the sample significance.Based on reviewing of papers at home and abroad about rural household surveys and thesample rotation study, this paper gives the basic concepts and basic processing techniquesof sample rotation, and discusses how to determine the sample rotation of the samplerotation rates. Then this paper summarizes three common patterns of the sample rotation,and gives comment on the advantages and disadvantages and scope of application.According to the specific circumstances of China’s rural household survey of multi-stagesampling, this article makes a more detailed study of multi-layer sample rotation methodsselection.In the rural household survey sample rotation method design, on the basis of thedomestic history and current situation of the rural household survey, combining with thebasic framework and the actual situation of China’s rural household survey samplingdesign, this dissertation formulates4kinds of multi-layer sample rotation methods:[36in][9-9-9(18)]、[36in][18in] two-layer sample rotation methods and [48in][24in][2-10-2(4)]、[36in][18in][9in] three-layer sample rotation methods.At last,this paper raisesits own views on the selection of rotation methods through comparison with existingsample rotation on China’s rural household survey.
