Becoming a new curriculum,general technology curriculum is a historic breakthrough during the8th elementary education curriculum reform. The textbook is the curriculum carrier. The new textbook reform plays a decisive role in the new turn of elementary education curriculum,and great changes have taken place in the general technology textbook reform from the compiling idea,the choice of content as well as the way it presented. The curriculum value that the textbook bears should be realized through the medium of teacher. Therefore,the essential part lies in the teachers’ understanding towards the textbook and the reasonable use of it. This article takes the enhancement on the general technology teachers’level of using the textbook as the major subject,and the purpose is to know the current situation on teachers’ level of using general technology textbook,and quest the strategies on the enhancement of teachers’level of using the textbook.The writer collects and sorts out the researchers about textbook in native and abroad.Based on these matercials,the writer forms the table of estimating teachers’ level of using the textbook. This article takes questionnaire interview, visiting interview as the major research method, and measures teachers’ level of using the textbook in the model on teachers’level of using textbook. Combining the results of questionnaire and the mark of teacher s’level, the situation of the teachers using textbook has these questions:the whole general technology teachers’level of using textbook is low; teacher s’ understanding textbook are inflexible; the ability of using textbook is not good; little ideas about evaluating textbook.Based on the situation, the author analysises two lessons,and sums up the way of enhancing teachers’ level of using textbook in the new perspective, which is "technological literacy"and"textbook literacy", those two literacy guide the teacher to set up a new view of textbook and use them in the class. Also, promoting the level of teachers’textbook using level need some other help, such as cooperation.
