Since2008Schools of various in Yunnan province have been carrying outcomprehensively the life education, Survival education and living education, whichsummarized as the life value education, and it makes life education ascend to a newlevel: life education should includes not only the attention to life, and includes thedevelopment of the survival ability and ascension of life value, and finally makes mento happiness. In2010July “National education reform and development of long-termplanning Programs"(2010-2020) also first clearly proposed that the students should "learn to live a life ", so life education has become the strategic decision of Chineseeducation.The psychology researches found that the different understandings of the value oflife can produce different life philosophy (cognitive), and different life philosophydetermines the basic attitude to life in social practice (survival, life). Only whenunderstanding the value of life existence well, a person can love life of its own andothers, and live actively and harmoniously. Teenagers are at a key stage of formationof Value and the development of personality, and are also vulnerable to the peerinfluence. It will be a multiplier educational method if peers can guide students toestablish correct life values.According to relevant theoretical and empirical studies, this research compiled thequestionnaires which had good reliability and validity for surveying life values andpeer effects of middle school students (junior and senior high school), and theninvestigated the status quo of the life values and peer influence of middle schoolstudents, and finally discussed the relationship between peer influence and life values.The results were as follows:1. About tools:“The questionnaire of life values for middle school” includes threelatitudes: biological life values, spiritual life values and social life values,18questions;“The questionnaire of peer effects of middle school in life values” containsactive peer influence and passive peer influence latitudes,15questions. Twoquestionnaires all have the good reliability and validity. 2. About results of survey:①Middle-school student’s overall situation of life values is above the average, butnot completely healthy, and individual differences is big; biological life values>social life values> spiritual life values, and spiritual life values is the "short board" ofthe life values education.②Positive peer influence of Middle-school student’s life values are in a dominates,and negative effects exist widely. Peer influence exists many differences,③The formation of Middle-school students’ life values and positive peerinfluence is significant positive correlation,and the correlation with negative peerinfluence is significant negative. Negative peer influence and positive peer effectstogether can predict46.1%of the life values. If jointing reason variables such asparent-child relationship, study pressure etc of this study, they can predict the54.9%of life values, so the predictive power is good. Negative peer influence and positivepeer influence have direct effect for life values, and other reason variables of thisstudy also affect to life values by peer influences.
