Class diagnosis can not only improve the quality of teaching, but also promoteteachers’ professional development. It helps teachers to improve teaching ideas andbehaviors in the process of analyzing and solving problems.However,there are someinsurmountable problems exist in the traditional class diagnosis which based on attendthe lecture on the spot, such as lacking of pertinence, professionalism and authority.The suggestions of expert teachers’ have significant impact on improving teaching, butclassroom teaching may become to a show because of experts’ attend. It causediagnosis lose its function.The development of information technology cause arevolution in the field of education, it also offers possibility to reduce the impact ofexternal interference in the class and creat favorable conditions for experts diagnosethe class teaching on the basis of authentic class.In this study, we consider “the authentic class” as the starting point to explore amodel to improve the current conditions, and make full use of class diagnosis.We usethe literature review, questionnaires, interviews and observation to do the study as thefollowing aspects:First, the study found out the current situation of class diagnosis by literaturereview, questionnaires and interviews, and analysis the problems.Then it proposed thenecessity of experts diagnosing the teaching on the base of authentic class, and theimportance of teacher professional development. All of these are the foundation ofbuilding the new model for improving the effect of class diagnosis.Second,we designed and constructed a new model of class diagnosis according tothe needs and the requirement of teachers’ development.This model can reduce experts’influence in classes to ensure thetarget and profession of diagnosis.It also focus onteachers’ teaching reflections.Third, on the support of the reflective teaching theory, we used the FMS, FLASHand other technique to build a distant diagnose platform, which associates diagnosis information with the video synchronously.It meets the basic needs of practice, andprovides teachers with opportunities of learning and reflection.Fourth, we applied the platform to practice, verified the feasibility of the modeland the application value of the platform by interviews and observation.
