Chinese teaching in middle schools should follow the rules of language education,highlight the occupation education characteristics. Teaching should adhere to thedevelopment of students, explore the effective teaching model, improve teachingmethods and means, to cultivate students’ language application ability, promote students’occupation accomplishment. On the " Outline " in teaching Chinese in secondaryvocational schools in terms of, Chinese curriculum ’s mission is: to guide students tothe correct understanding and application of native language, pay attention to thetraining of basic skills and development of thinking, strengthen Chinese practice,cultivation of language application ability, comprehensive occupation ability formation,and continue to lay the foundation for learning; to improve student’s thought moralityand accomplishment of science and culture, carry forward the national culture andabsorb the progress of human culture, to cultivate high quality of workers service.Therefore, Chinese course in occupation education environment must exist, after all,this course is conducive to the implementation of quality education, and to learn othersubjects to provide effective power. However, the Chinese teaching in secondaryvocational schools has been embarrassing. Chinese course in the actual teaching processhas been neglected. In the face of their native language, and as a teacher of vocationaleducation, the author not only has help with deep feeling,but also to do some basicanalysis on the current situation of Chinese education in secondary vocational school.Through the analysis of the student learning as well as the related policies, outline, andto awkward situation of the Chinese teaching in secondary schools. I will makecorresponding paper in the light of these problems, and to have some further thinking,and solve some questions, through language teaching activity.Now, most students have lower abilities of reading, language understanding andorganization and other problems. All these problems are not conducive to applying fortheir jobs, employment and continuing further education after graduation. According to the two aspects of comprehensive social demand and the level of the quality ofindividual student, I think it is one of the most important problems to cultivate thestudents’ reading ability. Reading ability is the most important ability that the studentscan gain through the study of Chinese language. We should pay more attention to thestudents’ reading ability which is formed combined together with reading ability,comprehension ability, comprehension ability, absorbing ability, reading, speed ability,language seuse and appreciation ability. This paper will focus on the analysis of therelated problems of improving the vocational school students’ reading ability andteaching methods are closely related. So this paper will also be directed in thediscussion of the teaching methods of reading in the Chinese class of the secondaryvocational schools. Compared with the other various learning abilities, the Chinesereading ability appears more important. The Chinese reading ability is the embodimentsof the comprehensive abilities. Reading can help students to broaden their horizons andto develop their healthy personality or dignity. So at present, in addition to thecultivation of students’ professional skills, the quality education cannot also be ignoredin the process of the Chinese teaching in the secondary vocational schools Above allimprove their reading ability. Reading ability is one of the personal basic language skills.So as a Chinese teacher, we must attach great importance to the cultivation of thestudents’ reading ability.
