This research is to investigate and analyze the praising expression taken in the classes by the Chinese language teachers of a primary school in Xi’an city, Shaanxi province. This program is based on teaching practices and through observation, communication and questionnaires to investigate the statuesque of using the praising evaluation expression by the primary school Chinese language teachers, many problems have been found exist in this aspect, mainly focused on the following items:high frequency of using the praising evaluation words, lack of true emotion and rarely care about the emotion of the pupils. So it is really important to improve and refine the ability of the using the praising evaluation expression for the primary school Chinese language teachers. Also this research supplies several recommendations and suggestions to problems of the praising evaluation expression behavior, including establishing correct pupil evaluation system in minds; put teacher’s love into this;emphasizing the multiple evaluation; improving knowledge accumulation; the training lessens for the teachers;the establishment of harmonious relationship and the retrospect of the teachers’ behaviors.Primary school is the beginning of the education and the start point of the quality education. Children is the hope of our nation, the future of our county, the primary education is closely related to the future of our Chinese people. The class is the place where the information transmitting and effective communication taking place, the atmosphere of the class plays important role in the characteristic and personality shaping of the pupils, the new curriculum reform emphasizes based of pupils and human care, the Chinese language classes is the best place for human care.In the primary classes the praising words evaluation behavior is a very important part of the teaching behavior evaluation. The praising words is the positive,appreciation and praising judgment for the reply from the pupils during the teaching activity, this behaviors plays positive role in triggering the interests and inspiring their passion for learning.There are four part in this thesis.The first part is the introduction, including the background of this research, the aim, the methods, the margin of related vocabulary and the classification of the praising expression evaluation behavior. The second part includes the theories backing and the research statuesque review home and abroad. The third part includes the careful investigation and analyzing for the praising evaluation expression of the teacher, including the frequency, the true situation, the pointed content, pointed person, the concrete details and the creativity of praising evaluation expression. Also we analyze the reasons behind the phenomenon, including:1.the education aim of the teacher;2.the evaluation system of the teachers;3.how the pupils like in the minds of teachers;4.the professional skill of the teachers;5.the evaluation trainings for the teacher;6.the ethics of the teachers. Based on part4investigation and observation we supply several recommendations and suggestions pointed to problems of the praising evaluation expression behavior:1.Estebilish correct pupil evaluation system;2.there should be love of teachers added to the praised evaluation;3.Emphasize multiply evaluation;4.Improve knowledge accumulation of the teachers;5.Open training lessens for the teacher;6.Establishe harmonious relationship and the retrospect of the teacher’ teaching behaviors.
