Since the nineteen eighties, a new round of basic education curriculum reform has been set off all over the world, the United States. Britain, Japan, South Korea, France, Russia and other countries have carried out a series of curriculum reform, a new round of basic curriculum reform also been begun in our country at the beginning of the twenty-first century. Teaching material reform, as the core of the curriculum reform, its development is the primary task, and the research results are the reflecting on effect of curriculum reform.As the result of the infiltration of western culture. Hong Kong education has made remarkable achievements, coupled with deep accumulating of the Chinese traditional culture, so choosing Hong Kong teaching material as the comparison, is more probable to draw more suitable nutrients for inland its own development, while has practical significance to perfect biology textbooks under the new curriculum.Based on the study about the development of our national biological materials, this paper analyses the construction course of Chinese biological teaching materials and developing foundation and the condition of this new round of biological materials, analyses progress on new teaching materials compared with old materials by literature analysis, compares the characters about various versions of the existing high school biology textbooks, besides, analyzes the current situation between foreign materials and Hong Kong teaching material.This paper studies surface structure between biological materials from People’s Education Press in the inland and biological materials of Hong Kong Oxford version: course setting and design ideas, content selection, arrangement of logic, style of writing, column setting, illustrations, exercises in seven aspects, deep structure: knowledge, ability, emotion attitude and values from three aspects, and compares from the core concepts, experiments, related occupation of this two teaching materials, after comparing, we can see that, there are not only the same parts, but their own unique characteristics in compiling between two teaching materials.With the analysis and comparison of the two textbooks, reference advantages of Hongkong materials. combine with the actual situation of curriculum reform in our country, we give some constructive suggestions to our biology teaching reform and curriculum implementation, raise the preference of the textbooks, reduce the degree of difficulty, increase scope. in order to replace the onerous, increase connection between new and old knowledge. The teachers can transform the ideas in curriculum implementation, improve the whole quality, pay attention to space connection in all subjects, strengthen exchanges between experts and teachers, and improve the curriculum plan, curriculum standards and textbooks constantly.
