Abstract:With the progress of quality education and course revolution, independent management has become increasingly important in secondary school reform, arousing greater attention of our fast developing society.Although independent management has been acknowledged and implemented by some schools. It still has some problems needing to be resolved in practice, one of which is the incomplete organization and system. In this case, not all the students take part in the work, students don’t have enough reflection, and the relationship in the class requires improving, which will seriously affect the process of class management, and retard the development of students’dependence, creativity and personality.Consequently, this paper takes the middle school H of Longquangyi district of Chengdu as an example. And conducts a survey on the students and the teachers. Based on the data from a questionnaire, interview and statistical study, the present situation of independent management, and then could be understood, the factors influencing the practice might be explored in the fields of education management, social psychology and statistics. Finally, some possible measures are put forward to better the implementation. This paper is divided into four chapters:Chapter1:introduces the research questions and significance of the paper, and the literature review in this field and some key terms are also included. Chapter2:presents the questionnaire design, which focuses on the current situation of independent management in High schools.Chapter3:studies are administrated on the students and teachers in the Middle School H, and some problems and their possible reasons are analyzed according to the data.In Chapter4, some measures and suggestions are proposed, from the perspectives of education administrative departments, the class management and the teacher. First, improve rational knowledge and transform educational idea, let students become the masters of the class; second, education administrative department should give safeguard policy to the teacher’s professionalization, provide more on-the-job training opportunities; third, the leaders of the school should pay more attention to the teacher’s professional development; fourth, the teachers should give students more rights to independent management of the class; fifth, the class should strengthen the construction system; sixth, the class should strengthen the collective activities; seventh, the teachers and students should join force to participate in the culture construction of the class independent management. Finally, the teachers should improve their professional quality. |
