| At present,the development of core literacy among middle school students is centered on cultivating "all-round development of people",of which responsibility and practical innovation are the most deficient among high school students.The class is an important place for students to study and live,and the effective management of the class is related to the growth and development of the students.Participatory class management emphasizes the autonomous participation of all members,activate the potential of each student,exercises students’ various participation abilities,cultivates students’ collective sense of responsibility,maximizes the comprehensive development of students,and improves the efficient management of the class.This paper takes the high students of N school in Shantou as the research object.We can know the current situation of high school students’ autonomous participation in class management through the questionnaire survey and interview method.Under the guidance of participatory management theory,combining with the practical research in the case puts forward some feasible suggestions which is suitable for high school students to participate in the class management autonomously.The investigation of status quo consists of five aspects: students’ awareness of participation,class management participation,class management satisfaction,support from school and headteachers,and students’ motivation to participation,obtaining 495 valid questionnaires ultimately.Based on the survey data,the author conducted the interviews with students,headteachers and school administrators.The survey showed that the main problems of students participating in class management autonomously are: the low awareness and enthusiasm of students participating in class management;the week quality of headteachers’ management,utilitarianism of class management,importance given to the role of class leaders,incomprehensive practice of democratic participation;conservative concept of the school’s management 、 the insufficient support for students’ participation in management;and respectively analyzed its causes.Afterwards,relaying on participatory management theory,the author took Class 10 Senior 2 as the case study,and tried to carry out total involvement in the class management so as to put forward some practical measures for high school students to participate in the class management autonomously.Eventually,combining the research data with practical case,the paper summarized several suggestions:1.Students: improve students’ awareness and enthusiasm for participating in management;2.Headteachers: improve the headteachers’ management quality,strive to create democratic and harmonious class atmosphere,attach importance to the full participation,make the class leaders play a cooperative role,scientifically practice democratic participation to improve student satisfaction;3.School: adhere to continuously deepen the student-oriented concept and enhance the democratic publicity and education,build a platform for students to participate in and implement democratic thoughts,establish the sound participation system and perfect the evaluation mechanism,appropriately reduce the burden on the headteachers to advance the implementation of participatory management,family-school communication jointly promote the sound development of participatory class management. |
