The stability and development of the society is the aspiration of people and education is themost important way to realize the aspiration. Teachers play an extremely important role inimproving the education quality. Teachers’ teaching ability has been a hot topic among schoolsand teachers and it decides the efficiency and quality of classroom teaching. Since1960s, theimprovement of teachers’ teaching ability has been recognized as the key of enhancing teachers’quality in many countries and the rapid development of information technology and theaccelerated progression of economy globalization pose higher requirements on teaching qualityand efficiency. Hence, how to improve teachers’ teaching ability deserves intensive research.The knowledge delivered by primary education is fundemental, diverse, and wide-covering.The objects of primary education are children aged between6~12. Primary school teachers musttake the metal traits and learning rules of the objects into consideration during teachingimplementation. Besides, the teachers should follow closely the inward world of the studetns andteach them how to accumulate knolwdedge and comprehend their lives during discovering andexploring the outward world. Primary school teachers should be the close friends of primaryschool students and enhance their comprehensive development through teaching activites.To present, many theories and experience summarization related to teachers’ teachingability have been reported worldwide; however, only few concerns that of primary schoolteachers, which is the topic of this study. The author firstly analyzes the current situations of theteaching design ability, teaching implementation ability, and teaching assessment ability ofprimary school teachers and existing problems. Then, the author investigates the school-relatedfactors that influence primary school teachers’ teaching ability and proposes some strategies forenhancing teaching ability from the ethical point of view. This work is expected to enhance theprofessional quality of primary school teachers and the teaching quality of primary schools.
