| Now it is a century with the domination of information. The increasing index level of knowledge and the rapid innovation of technology make all kinds of information come to us like a flood. Faced with the information stream, we should pay attention to the concern about how to look for, select, evaluate, analyze and apply information effectively. At the same time, education field has also undergone a major change in the information age:the time and space of education has been greatly expanded, the share of education resources has been greatly achieved, the students’ learning communication can cross the boundaries of time and space in full swing, and the generation, transfer and application of new information has become quick and convenient. So in this context, the training of students’geographic information attainment is not eager to stay. At the same time, a kind of learning theory adapting to the high-speed development of information named connectivism, which is based on the comprehensive analysis of the study trend and learning mechanism in the digital age of generation and is also an effective instruction to the rapid, accurate and continuous acquisition, storage and update of information. The new study theory calls for a new perspective to rethink and understand the original understanding of all kinds of concepts. Therefore, it is one of our new direction of research to redefine the geographic information literacy of middle school students, analyze its structure characteristics and look for effective ways of training from the perspective of association theory. This study mainly adopts the method of document research, questionnaire survey and mathematical statistics and so on to make a survey from the two strands of geographic information literacy and connectivism learning theory, which realizes the transition from theory to practice. Main contents are as follows:The first part is introduction, which introduces the background of the topic, its significance, status quo and research methods. The second part is the overview of the theory. The chapter gives a detailed discussion and analyses of the core ideas of connectivism based on consulting a large number of literature materials and expounds the new connotation of geographical information literacy from the perspective of association study theory, which provides a theoretical support and method guidance for the study. The third part is the focus of this study, which is a realistic basis for the formulation of strategies by offering a further understanding the status and training environment of high school students on geographical information literacy based on the survey statistics and interview record. The fourth part is the purpose of this study. In this part, the strategies are put forward, which focus on fostering the geographical information attainment of middle school students from several aspects, such as the government and society, schools, teachers and students according to the survey of the questions reflected in the previous study to provide effective ways and methods for the late operation. The fifth part is summarization, which on the one hand summaries the main conclusion and on the other hand puts forward the existing problems and some further research topics. The research on the geographic information attainment of middle school students from association study theory is to:(1) enrich the theory basis, for the application of the association study theory is mostly in the virtual network or remote education and the specific teaching research is little;(2) carry out the requirements of the new curriculum reform, for the current course has a high demand on the standards of the geographic information attainment of students but the concrete implementation methods and strategies is worth exploration;(3) provide new methods based on the understanding of the present situation of geographical information attainment of students the basic, which are from various aspects, such as the government, schools, teachers, students and so on. |
