A Platform Design For Digital Learning Resources Based On Campus Network

Digital Learning, as a novel learning approach, has penetrated into every learner’s daily life. Starting with the digital learning resources exchange platform of the UESTC International Studies Institute, based on the present research of domestic and international digital learning and analyzing the requirements of the platform, this thesis studied and discussed the design and implementation process of a J2EE technology-based digital learning resource platform. According to the constraints degree of learners in digital learning environment, digital learning resources platform was divided into two types:One was to assist teachers in classroom teaching, and the other was an unconspicuous curriculum model. The research scope of this thesis was the latter and the main contents were as follows:Firstly, the system of digital learning resources was studied, which included the introduction and analysis of the recent research of Digital Learning Resources Construction, the significance of digital learning for secondary learners and the illumination of the relevant theoretical basis.Secondly, the outline of the digital learning resource platform was contained. In order to share resources and exchange information, the main modules of the platform were searching module, the basic resource information module, resource type module, the basic information of user, rights management, learning exchange forum. Besides, the evaluation of resources, the on-line multimedia playing, key word Lucene full-text search were also added to the platform and they all designed in detail.Thirdly, the digital learning resources platform was implemented. Based on the design, adopted java development built on the B/s mode, taken advantages of jdbc connecting mysql database, applied server tomcat for achieving database operations Sql statement, the platform comprehensively achieved the sharing of learning resources in a small LAN and accomplished its construction.Lastly, the digital learning resource platform was tested and analyzed. In this section, graduates, administrators, teachers and students were selected for testing and evaluating the platform. Correlation analysis of the evaluation results was processed by Spss software.
